Dear Collective Members: I have created this fb page for members only. My hope is to use this page to potential load training videos, and documents for all to use (ie: readings, tips, required forms and other tools.) While I have no experience in loading videos and docs, I can learn.

I also hope this page can be used by members who can post research updates and questions to the group...each of you are experts in your fields with many talents. My thought is by posting your research updates the momentum will stay strong..

Another important function of the FB page could be members sharing potential interviewees across the state. It is critically important that our research reaches all corners especially outside urban hubs...

I am profoundly proud of each of you for stepping in this important endeavor!

Not sure if you all know that we have a new member, Pernille Ipsen, Swedish scholar who is extremely interested in 2nd wave feminists in non white communities and she is amazing! She is going to use some grant funds for new interviews! Wooo whooo!

Furthermore, Mark Carreno, my former PBS director now living in LA is in contact with Jonathan Nelson of WHS about donating videos and archives... wow!

This week I worked with Marla Tahuado, UW Madison faculty in identifying agencies that serve immigrants which is her focus for a Fall class and Collective research.. She is really on a roll!

Tony Casteneda, Madison has agreed to document his musical group which is a legend! Thanks to Tony!!!

Yesterday I spoke to Linda Garcia Merchant of Chicanas Por Mi Raza (national oral history project of which Somos Latinas is a part of) and agreed to be interviewed about Asset based teaching and oral history methods... Exciting.

Stay tuned...and my deepest gratitude to each of you!
