Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸

Flashback to 1999 -

The Independence Day parade theme focused on milestones of the 20th Century.

Honorary Parade Marshalls were the Archives' Warner Lord and the Madison Historical Society's Beverly Montgomery, who teamed up to write the book "Madison in the 20th Century."

The Exchange Club of Madison presented the popular Independence Day event in 1999 and will continue to do so this year.

In 1999, featured talent came from across the state and well beyond, including from "...a galaxy far, far away!"
