🌸Our annual employee show, Artists at Work, is still up for viewing!

Hatch’s artist employees practice a wide variety of art styles and Artists at Work showcases their various talents, including paintings, illustrations, jewelry, and more! We’re sharing a bit about our artists as the show continues, so follow along!

🌸Maeve Krause is a jeweler who is inspired by the quiet beauty of nature, preserving real flowers in resin to create pieces that feel delicate and unique.  What began as a means to stay creative during Covid gradually grew into something more meaningful; a way to slow down, observe, and capture fleeting moments in bloom.  Each piece is made to celebrate nature’s detail, transformed into something lasting and wearable.

✨Tammy Schreiter is Hatch’s owner and curator, and paints landscapes in acrylic and watercolor.

Tammy describes art as her “sanctuary” growing up. This led to the opening of Hatch as a “welcoming environment that supports local artists and makes art accessible to everyone.” Tammy created this original watercolor, titled, Wisconsin Field, for the AAW showcase.

✨Hatch & Hazel are hiring! We’re on the lookout for a couple of Shop Assistants to join our team. Position duties include offering friendly and knowledgeable customer service to shoppers looking for unique local art and gifts, maintaining the gift shop and gallery space, inventory management, and contributing to a fun and creative environment!

✨We’ll be open late Friday night for MMoCA’s citywide Gallery Night! Join us for an Artist Reception from 5-9pm celebrating our employee show, Artists At Work. View the show, meet some of our employee artists, and shop both Hatch Art House and Hazel General Store. See you there!

✨Tomorrow is the opening day of our annual employee art show! Our Artists at Work show features the work of our very own Hatch employees. If you’ve been to Hatch in person, then you know our wonderful employees - but did you know that our Hatch Art House team is also made up of artists?

✨We’d love to have you join us for our Artist Reception on Friday, May 8th from 5-9pm coinciding with MMoCA’s citywide Gallery Night to view the show and hang out with our employee artists! If you can’t make the reception, the show will be up for viewing for the entire month of May during our regular business hours. And be sure to follow along on social media as we share a little more information about our employees and their art!
