Mississippi Wing of the Commemorative Air Force Our mission is to Educate, Honor and Inspire. We hope to inspire young people to a love and career of aviation and honor those who served.

MS Wing is a 501(c)(3). To donate, please visit www.mississippiwingcaf.org. All donations are tax deductible. The Mississippi Wing meets every 3rd Saturday of the month and at other various times for special events. Our monthly meeting are open to the public and everyone is welcome to join us. Please welcome Bill Culberson with FighterJets Inc. and his incredible MiG-15 fighter jet to Aviation Discovery Day!

Originally developed during the Korean War era, the MiG-15 became one of the most iconic fighter jets in aviation history. Seeing one up close is a rare opportunity - and now you’ll be able to experience it right here in person.

From open-cockpit biplane nostalgia to the power of a legendary warbird trainer, each aircraft offers a completely unique perspective on flight - and a memory you won’t forget.

Please note: the P-51 Mustang and Gamebird aircraft will not be available for rides this year, as they were part of our good friend, Dan Fordice’s collection. We appreciate your understanding as we honor his legacy and contributions to Mississippi aviation.

Come see this incredible 1943 L-2 Taylorcraft, a true piece of aviation history with a unique twist at Aviation Discovery Day. This isn’t your typical vintage aircraft- the wings have been shortened by nearly 8 feet, transforming it into an aerobatic performer capable of thrilling maneuvers you wouldn’t expect from a classic like this.

You can watch it soar and twist through the sky as it performs at multiple airshows across the region throughout the year, piloted by our very own CAF member, Eric Hollingsworth!
