Happy June everyone! I'm behind on my flower gardening and noticed today that some of the early blooms, like irises are fading fast! It's nice we can remember these blooms with lovely stitched pieces like Karen C's painted canvas piece "Colonial Flowers." See more Spring inspiration at https://madisonareaega.org/gallery-2/

The Temari not-really-balls were created by Colorado fiber artist Becky Margenau. Temari is such a popular technique in our chapter that our member Nancy Daly was inspired to share these Temari at the 2025 Art of the Needle Show. Becky may be the only Temari artist who uses found beach rocks for her foundation, but they look so much like Ukrainian Pysanka (eggs) that I had to share them today!
