Edo Talbor of Closter NJ, celebrated his birthday by coming to the Mahwah Museum and playing Les Paul’s guitars. Here he is sampling Les’ Recording Gibson guitar.

Guitar lovers and Les Paul fans can play most of the guitars on display which were owned by Les.

Sessions are by appointment only. For a $40 fee, a musician can schedule a 60-minute playing session.

John and Kathy Francis of Cedar Knolls NJ had such a good time playing Les’ guitars in summer 2025, they came for a return visit today. John is playing Les’ ‘69 Gibson Custom while Kathy sings ‘How High The Moon’. This was an impromptu performance so sorry Kathy, I didn’t have a microphone to set up. Such a fun morning!

Thank you so much to all of our visitors, volunteers, sponsors, docents, performers, and speakers this season!

Throughout the 2025-2026 season, we hosted 8 lectures and 2 musical workshops! We've enjoyed sharing this season of music, art, and history with you all, and can't wait to show you what we have planned for our 2026-2027 season!
