The mission of the ARTfactory is to enrich the quality of life among all the populations in our area through the arts, including arts education and visual and performing arts. The ARTfactory is home to ARTfactory Actors Theatre (professional theatre company), ARTfactory's Pied Piper Theatre (youth theatre company), and Past Time Players (55+ theatre company). Founded in 1984 by a group of artists and art lovers, we aim to enrich the quality of life in the Northern Virginia suburbs through arts performance and education. A theater, an art gallery and classrooms are located in the historic Candy Factory building in Old Town Manassas, at 9419 Battle Street.

Disney Newsies the Musical is a high-energy Broadway hit inspired by the true story of the 1899 New York newsboys’ strike. ARTfactory's Pied Piper Theatre is holding auditions for it's upcoming production of Hairspray the Broadway Musical on June 1 and 2 at the ARTfactory. For audition details, please visit our website at https://hubs.li/Q04hXH9c0.

Performances will be held in the Gregory Family Theater at Hylton Performing Arts Center September 18, 19, 25, and 26 at 7:00 PM and September 20 and 27 at 2:00 PM.

This is a youth production for ages 8-18.

Join us for ARTfactory’s “Open Flow Friday” event on Friday, June 26 from 7 to 9 pm in the art gallery!

Open Flow Friday applies a creative spin to the “open mic night” concept, encouraging ALL types of creatives to participate, present, and/or perform their craft! Open Flow Friday offers an open mic, and open art demonstration space for local artists to share their art form with an audience, whether you are a poet, author, musician, painter, etc. This is your safe space for creativity, community, and self-expression! This event is free and open to the public.

Interested participants should plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early to add their name to the performance sign-up list.
