Join us Saturday at the park to create some art!

Celebrate Mental Health Awareness in May with local providers! Join us in learning about mental health through fun activities that include all ages. Several agencies will have their own tables to promote their services and provide different games and crafts. Let’s break down the barriers and stigmas together. And if that’s not enough the food trucks will be sure to draw you in. This event is open to anyone in Mankato and surrounding communities, and is FREE. Tickets for the food trucks will be available to purchase. Meet us by the pavilions near the animal farm.

On view today till 6pm in the back studio. Stories and objects shared by local community members.

"The Archive of Significant Objects", is a project wherein artist and storyteller Felicia Cooper interviewed people about significant objects in their life, to then place the objects on display in an impromptu museum. The object interviews are edited into an oral history and are shared widely. Come view this temporary install of objects, and read about their stories.

Learn about one of our upcoming exhibiting artist!

Artist Julie Frank
I am a self-taught artist striving to push the boundaries of diamond art, taking inspiration from literally anything in the universe that makes me feel something or to turn back for a closer look. Q***r icons, song lyrics, current events, and my own feelings and experiences are all muses to me. I take a blank canvas grid and fill it with dots, discerning as I go which details are essential to the design and which must be omitted for the painting to be as clear and striking as possible. I integrate other types of media when I feel that they will help to convey the mood or message of the piece, but diamond art is always at the core. I want to show the world that diamond dots can be elevated beyond craft to a contemporary art form.
