In the early 1900’s, when electricity wasn’t plentiful, America needed a better and brighter way to light its homes and farms. Enter Coleman lamps and lanterns, Sunshine of the Night! Come see examples of early Coleman lamps, lanterns, stoves and heaters, and learn about the science that makes them work.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Sylvia Shoebridge, Town of Pompey Historian Emeritus and Editor in Chief of Pompey, Our Town in Profile (1976).

A funeral service will be held on Sat., Dec. 30 at 1PM at Sylvia's family homestead, Maple Hill Farm, 2327 Berry Road, Lafayette, NY 13084.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that folks make donations for new fruit trees to be planted in Sylvia's memory at Maple Hill Farm next spring.

The Cazenovia Art Trail is this weekend! (Cazenovia Art Trail) Take the self-guided tour around Cazenovia and discover the area's rich art community. Meet artists, visit studios, view breathtaking artwork and maybe even take some home! The Art Trail runs 10AM until 5PM both Saturday (9/30) and Sunday (10/1) with a reception at CazArts' Carpenter's Barn on Friday (9/29) from 6PM until 8PM.
