Taking care of your tools is very important in what I do . Here is a quick tip on how to clean a dirty iron .
1) always use Distilled water in it ( it will keep it from calcium build up
2) Use a magic eraser ( cold iron ) or just barley warm to clean the outside of it .
Make sure to iron a towel after to make sure your surface is completely cleaned .

So this was my first ever" real "quilt I did for my great niece. I didn't know at the time that you should try to use all the same type of fabric lol . So I used cotton and flannel. I just liked the style of the pattern ( apparently) this is one of the more challenging ones. Live and learn :) i had a great time doing it . It's definitely it perfect but it's still beautiful, and went to a beautiful girl .
