One day, I decided to paint the birth of Jesus, and I guessed Joseph would want to be there to comfort her through the process, even though in that culture men avoided being around women at a time like this. There is a lot of symbolism going on:
Mary is sitting on the Earth as she’s bringing forth the Light of the world. There is also the Tree of Life in the background, the Angel Gabriel above, the Holy Spirit in the form of a Dove and the Lamb awaiting what the future brings.
The painting is 60”x48” so you can “walk” into it.

I decided I’m going to paint another version after reading about the visions of Venerable Ann Kathryn Emmerich, who saw a completely different vision of the birth of Jesus ….stay tuned for THAT painting!!!

The Blessed Virgin Mary was filled with the fire of the Holy Spirit throughout her life on earth, even from the moment of her conception, when she became the Mother of God. Catholics celebrate her Immaculate Conception on Monday, December 8.

Timeless Treasures
Full day of Guest Portraits

ORIGINAL GUEST PAINTINGS :
Rose paints 10 guests per hour.
That’s 6 minutes per person.
Portraits are quick yet still slightly detailed.

Guests are accomodated on a first come first serve basis and each guest receives one opportunity to participate.
The guests will come to the artist’s table to have a cell phone photo taken, as individuals or couples.
They can address an envelope at that time , in which the finished portrait will be protected.

Rose will arrive 1 hour before the scheduled time and paints throughout until the booking time has ended.

FULL DAY LIVE PAINTING
The starting time for Rose and the hours of artist time on the day determines how many portraits can be done on the premises of the event.
For example, an 8 hour day will produce 80 portraits, 9 hour day, 90 portraits.
Remaining portraits that need to be finished will be completed at the artist’s studio within the next day, and can be picked up or dropped off.

A BEAUTIFUL POP-UP GALLERY
that will grow as your day progresses.
Here’s a thought:
These portraits can also serve
as yourTHANK YOU CARDS, since envelopes
can be addressed by the guests when they come to get their photograph taken.

The artist supplies all equipment and materials necessary for the portrait painting.

Guests can pick up their finished portraits throughout the event and all remaining portraits not collected will be left with the contracted client/ event planner.
(If anyone leaves without their painting it can be mailed in the envelope).

If you want to do VIP, and do less people you could choose that route, that would be 10 people an hour, whether a couple or single.
The VIPs would have to be predetermined and have their name on a list.

Claire Mohler really rocks! She also swims like the fishes! Feeling so happy to finally get a photo together today with her and the painting I did of her.
