As accomplished, self -taught, self- managed artists for the past 30 years, both feel being raised in the Blue Ridge area of North Georgia has contributed greatly to the uniqueness of their art. Unsurpassed in its beauty, the rural area of the North Georgia mountains is an artist's paradise; providing a wonderful backdrop of rustic cabins, farms with their antique tractors, hayrakes, mowing machines and wagons along with the old houses, barns and other outbuildings.

This is a Charcoal Drawing "Hard Days Work" I completed many years ago. Someone (I can't remember who} commissioned me to do the drawing for them. Luckily I had taken a photo before delivering it to the customer. I accidentally ran across the photo while looking for something else. It made me happy to see it again after so many years, so I thought I would share it.
