I was honored to recreate this gorgeous bouquet! Thank you Hannah Livermore for trusting me with this precious gift for your friend.
There were so many beautiful flowers and bright colors to work with here. It’s such a special gift, I really try to do it justice so it’s a wonderful memory for the bride!

I started this painting forever ago and it’s been impatiently staring at me waiting to be finished! So I finally took some time to finish it up.

This is an 11x14 sailboat sunrise painting ☀️Everything was done with a palette knife except the sailboat. Another fun one and of course I had to add in a bit of gold to get some of that sunrise shine!

Life has been absolutely crazy since we moved back home - working on the new house, settling in, reforming connections, working full time, coaching the boys in baseball, and so many other things!

That’s left me no time to paint and create. So if I can’t do a lot of painting right now, I figured I can at least take a moment to reflect on the last few years and some of my favorite pieces to remind me how much I love painting.

What’s your favorite piece? ♥️🌻

It was wonderful to be able to paint again 😍 I had such an urge to create and I am so glad I could let some of that out.
This big guy is a 24x36 canvas with some lovely mountains in the moonlight, overlooking a field of golden wildflowers.
This painting was done completely with a palette knife which is a super fun and freeing way to paint because it means I really can’t fixate on little details!

Hi friends!
Moving to Munising has really put a pause on my ability to paint. But before we moved I was able to finish up a commission for Carole Johnson Murk that was so fun and took a lot of detail! She really wanted bright, summery colors and flowers. This was a 20x24 canvas size. I hope she is loving it! 🌻

I am so excited to be fully moved in to the new house so I can paint again!
