American Museum of Magic AMM houses the largest collection of magic memorabilia open to the public in North America! From December to March, the museum is open by appointment only.

The American Museum of Magic is the largest public museum in the Western Hemisphere devoted to the history of magic and magic performance. Its two facilities located in Marshall, Michigan house exhibitions in the main building and collections, archives and a research library that is open by appointment. Founded by the late Robert and Elaine Lund in 1978, the museum has transitioned from a private collection to a public museum with regular hours of visitation. The American Museum of Magic is supported by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts. Please email [email protected] to request an appointment. From April to the end of November, the museum is open Wednesday-Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM and Sunday from 12 PM to 4 PM.

Your gift to the American Museum of Magic will now be matched! An anonymous donor has agreed to match new gifts, dollar for dollar, through October 31.

“During the early years of my career as a teacher librarian, I experienced the magical connection intrinsic to a good story, well shared.” – Board member Marsha Lambert

From Camp Abracadabra to Reading Month field trips for every Marshall third grader, the museum shares magic’s stories with the next generation. It costs about $50 a day to keep our two historic buildings open; matched, your $50 covers two. Give today: square.link/u/h7HjvAzB (also linked in our Instagram bio).
