The Oshkosh Fly-In is an annual air show and gathering of aviation enthusiasts held each summer at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, United States. It is organized by the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) and is also known as EAA AirVenture Oshkosh.
The event takes place on the last week of July and brings more than 3,000 show aircraft, including civil, commercial, military, and experimental aircraft. For one week, the Wittman airport becomes the busiest in the world, with more than 3,300 daily operations averaging about 121 takeoffs and landings per hour while the airport is open.
There are many features and attractions at the event, including world-class aerobatics, history coming alive through airplanes of all eras of flight filling the sky, camaraderie with fellow aviation enthusiasts, and fun for the whole family.
