2026 promises to be a huge year for the museum. Working with the BRCDC on the Heritage Park, many new additions will be added to the museum’s interpretive and educational programs.
Below is the museum’s mission and values statement. The museum works under the direction and administrative authority of the Searcy County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Although occasional grants are used for specific exhibits or programs, no local, state or federal funds are used for the day-to-day operation of the museum. Those funds all come from private, civic, and organizational donations. There are no paid employees, all work is performed with volunteer labor.
