Marysville Historical Society

Marysville Historical Society A museum is not just a building full of old stuff. A museum is a record of time, a place, and its people. Come visit our museum at 6805 Armar Road.

The Marysville Historical Society is dedicated to the discovery, preservation and display of all items relating to the history of the Greater Marysville area. The true value of history lies in what it tells us about the world in which we live. What greater gift can we give to future generations than a special place to preserve the past for the greater good!

Get ready for an adventure through Marysville! In celebration of America 250, you're invited to take part in Red, White and Clue - a free, citywide scavenger hunt that turns Marysville's history into a hands-on quest.

With a scavenger hunt passport in hand, explore eight unique locations, crack clues with friends or family, and discover more about the Marysville community. Each stop offers something extra to enjoy: walking trails, playgrounds, historical features, and plenty of surprises along the way. Complete the journey in one day or spread it out over a couple of days. Most participants finish in about 2-3 hours.

Downloadable clues will be available June 1 on our website. Submit a completed passport to enter for the chance to win a prize (one entry per household). This scavenger hunt is presented by Marysville Parks, Culture and Recreation and the Marysville Historical Society. More info at marysvillewa.gov/250.

Marysville Cemetery, American Legion Post 178 and Mayor Jon Nehring invite you to a free community observance to pay tribute to those who died in service to our country. The program starts at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 25, at the cemetery (88th & State).
