We’re thrilled to announce a wonderful new addition to 2nd Thursday – Local Artisan Expressions… please help us welcome Petals & Pages Mobile Bookshop to our creative evenings!

They’ll be joining us on these confirmed dates:

Mark your calendars and join us for an evening filled with shopping, art exhibits, and creative minds mingling in a welcoming community atmosphere.

Plus, the Union County Photography Club meets at the same time — bringing even more creative energy and inspiration under one roof.

Creativity fills every nook and corner of the historic Houston House, and our Artisan Gallery 264 Gift Shop is full of unique, handcrafted treasures created by talented local artists.

Ever wonder what happens behind the scenes to prepare for judging the art shows? Mrs Friend & Ms Hasser have a crew who prepare and hang artwork. The Marysville Art League then judges the pieces. Our board of trustees got a sneak peek at the show last night and WOW!!! You can visit the show Saturday, May 9th between 10am-3pm. Admission is free and all are welcome!

The highschool art show has 90 ribbons (30 categories) PLUS 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for best in show as well as people's choice. We also have 9 scholarships to award. It took the crew about 4 hours to set it up.
