We have recently added more items to the exhibit, including two period weapons loaned to us by Knoxville judge David Creekmore. One is a flintlock Rigby pistol and the other is a British Brown Bess type officer's fusil musket, with its bayonet. Stop by and see the new items.

The War of 1812 Exhibit will open at the Blount County Historical Museum in June of 2012. I will have almost 200 items from my collection on display. We hope that after officials from Nashville see our final version of the War of 1812 Exhibit they might include it on their traveling exhibit schedule for the bicentennial of the war, which runs from 2012 to 2014.
