Today was one of those days. 🖤

Building a small business comes with plenty of moments when you wonder if you’re headed in the right direction. And then a day comes along that reminds you why you started.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by Pawsh today, shopped with me, talked dogs with me, asked about my artwork, and supported this little dream of mine.

Today may have been our last Waynesville Street Fair of the summer, but we’ll be back for the Ohio Sauerkraut Festival this fall—and you’ll find Pawsh popping up at more festivals throughout the year. I can’t wait to see you again.

From a photograph… to a painting… to a piece of art made to last. 🤍🐾

There’s something so special about watching a beloved dog slowly come to life on paper—one wash, one detail, and one tiny brushstroke at a time.

And then comes my favorite part: seeing the finished portrait framed and imagining it hanging in the home of the person who loves them most.

This is why I paint dogs. They aren’t just pets. They’re part of our stories. 🤍
