Boy, were they wrong!

So happy to exceed expectations. Full quote below:

“My husband and I, our daughter and 12-year-old granddaughter drove from Cincinnati to Maysville expecting to spend an hour or so at a small one-room museum. We arrived at 10 am and never stopped "ooo-ing" and "ahh-ing" until noon! We walked to lunch at the Delites Cafe, an authentic, charming little diner, and then spent the rest of the afternoon, still "ooo-ing" and "ahh-ing," at the museum. Words cannot describe the incredible, exquisite collection of miniatures on display there in a beautiful venue. And the docent at the front desk was so welcoming and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be making another trip to see the KSB Miniatures Collection! Thank you for a wonderful, memorable day!”

Just a few rooms from Chessington Plaza by Dan McNeil. Kaye commissioned this piece to present two styles of furnishings she had collected over the years. This five-story townhouse features 21 rooms total with one side representing European living, the other American traditional decor.

International Museum Day!

We love all museums, but especially our Kentucky Gateway Museum Center! We are proud to be a part of the oldest Kentucky state-chartered historical organization in continuous existence (since 1878).

When you visit the KSB Miniatures Collection in Maysville, you are treated to four other exhibitions in the complex: The Wormald Gallery’s regional history displays, the Calvert Gallery’s changing exhibit hall, the Old Pogue Experience highlighting the history of bourbon and our prestigious Research Library.
