Our goal is to preserve the legacy of Meadville's own Keystone View Company, which began business in 1892, and went on to become the world's largest manufacturer of stereoscopic (three-dimensional) materials.

Our museum's research library has a huge framed document on Keystone View Company's Letters Patents hanging on the wall. It is about Keystone's 1905 incorporation, and I typed up the wording and printed out a copy for our files of keystone information. Stop by our museum on Saturday from 10 to 4 to learn more about the Meadville business that once had branch offices in at least four countries.

We’ve been busy expanding!

The Alfred A. and Rachel E. Johnson Library/Archive at the museum has received a bit of an expansion!

Moved into a larger space with “new” artifacts on display, the library is open during our regular hours (Saturdays from 10 AM - 4 PM) and by appointment.
