Mission

The Art Studio is an after school art program that provides a creative outlet for the youth and their families of Crawford County, Pennsylvania. Goals

While at The Art Studio students will gain opportunity to learn basic art skills while experimenting with a variety of art mediums. Students will learn about art, a

rtist, art history, and about art being created around the world. While using the power of creativity students will improve on self-expression, confidence building, communication skills, working with other, independent skills, problem solving, patience for self and others, self-criticism, and most importantly the ability to imagine. Skills learned will follow the student into their homes and throughout their future endeavors. Experience

The Art Studio provides hands on experience by trained instructors in the field of art and working with children. All instructors involved have proper and up to date clearances. Affiliation

The Art Studio is a branch of The Non-Profit Organization Meadville Council of the Art. Program Director and instructor is Debra Barnhart. Debra was formerly the Assistant Director and instructor of Creative Expressions of Art. Contact Information:

Wednesday 4:00pm - 5:30 pm Middle School

Thursday 4:00 pm-5:30 pm Ages 12 to 18
