From balancing on logs and climbing through nature-inspired obstacles to splashing, digging, and discovering in our water play area, this space is designed for kids to move, explore, and grow. Every jump, climb, and muddy moment is building confidence, coordination, and connection.

At the Children’s Museum, we believe learning happens through play—and outdoors, that learning comes alive in the most joyful ways.

🌿 Connect with nature through hands-on discovery

Soak up the sunshine, embrace the mess, and let curiosity lead the way this spring at Outdoor Adventure 💛

💨✨ Feel the rush at the Wind Lab!

Swoosh! Inside our STEAM Forest, kids can step into a fast-paced, hands-on experience where air comes to life. By turning k***s, changing pathways, and sending scarves flying through tubes, little learners explore how airflow works in real time.

At the Wind Lab (proudly sponsored by Medford Women’s Clinic), children are:
🔹 Predicting where air will move next
🔹 Building hand-eye coordination through play
🔹 Working together to solve challenges

It’s science you can see, feel, and chase!

Come experience the power of air and watch curiosity take flight 💨💡

💧🌊 Splash into learning at our Water Table!

Located inside our STEAM Forest—generously sponsored by The Marie Lamfrom Charitable Foundation—this interactive exhibit brings science to life through hands-on play.

At the Water Lab (sponsored by JTMF Foundation), kids (and grown-ups!) can explore the magic of movement, flow, and cause & effect in a way that’s both fun and meaningful.

Watch as little engineers:
🔹 Build pathways and redirect water currents
🔹 Experiment with speed and direction
🔹 Float, splash, and problem-solve in real time

It’s more than just play—it’s S.T.E.A.M. learning in action, supporting creativity, critical thinking, and sensory development.

✨ Every splash is a lesson. Every moment is discovery.

Come explore the Water Table on your next visit! 💙
