Elements of Expression: The Art and Design of Elwyn George Gowen Elwyn George Gowen (1895-1954) was a New England craftsman, designer, teacher, and artist. The exhibition runs from May 3-20, 2012.

This exhibition-- curated by graduate students in the Tufts Museum Studies program-- explores the full range of Gowen’s work, including designs for fabric, prints, and paintings. Come explore how Gowen used color, design, light, and motion to express the world around him. An opening reception will be held on May 3 at 5:30 P.M. and is free and open to the public.
