Our Peace Treaty committees have been very busy this week. Our rodeo committee hosted a very successful Gyp Hills Roundup Rodeo Saturday night.

Saturday morning, members of the Treaty Troupe, Night Show and Cavalry scene represented the Peace Treaty Association in the Miss Kansas Parade.

Today, the Treaty Troupe girls are providing a concession and information booth for all the Bike Across Kansas riders who are staying in our community.

We are truly grateful for all our volunteers and sponsors who make Peace Treaty events possible every year! We couldn’t do it without your support!

We are so excited to announce a special treat at this weekend's Gyp Hills Roundup Rodeo!

We will be welcoming the Broken Spoke Clydesdales from Winfield, Kansas. Known for their beautiful draft horses, wagon demonstrations, and skilled driving performances, these gentle giants have appeared at rodeos and events across the country. Come see these magnificent horses up close and experience a piece of western tradition at its finest!

Buckle up and get ready for a great summer kick-off event in Medicine Lodge! The Gyp Hills Roundup Rodeo is back on June 6 and there will be something fun for everyone!

This rodeo features all of the favorite rodeo events, but adults and kids of all ages can get into the action with special contests, scrambles, mutton bustin’ and more. Both food and retail vendors will be available, as well as T-shirts and cold beer.

Tickets are $15 for adults. Students K-12 are $5. Children 5 and under are free if accompanied by an adult. Tickets will be sold at the gate.
