Our Shady Oaks Farm collection has been enriched by Jim Briggs' recent donation of these items. The photographs show the construction of the newer portions of the barn, which occurred from 1939 to 1940. As Jim noted, the lumber was sawn from trees felled by the Hurricane of 1938!

Then and Now: 200 Main Street (Main and Milford intersection)

This historical image, captured in September 1902, features the residence of Aaron Perry. Constructed in 1816, this dwelling continues to stand at its original location, positioned to the left of the Community Church. This photograph serves as an excellent example for close examination. The current image was obtained from an online source.
