House of Mtenzi (“Mtenzi” Swahili for artist) is a non-profit organization designed to open the door to the performing arts. It is our goal to provide lasting impressions and give back to our local citizens, especially the homeless via numerous "Forgotten Souls" events. The House of Mtenzi produces the Annual Stone Awards event that is promised to educate and entertain its audience. Call to schedule an individual, group, or school tour today! Sheyann Webb-Christburg is a civil rights activist and co-author of the book Selma, Lord, Selma. As a nine-year-old, Webb took part in the first attempt at the Selma to Montgomery march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge on March 7, 1965, known as Bloody Sunday, and was known as Martin Luther King Jr.'s "Smallest Freedom Fighter".
