The Society strives to perpetuate local history through the development and preservation of a substantial collection of historical documents, artifacts, manuscripts and memorabilia. It is the aim of the Society to expand individual and collective knowledge about our unique local heritage, resulting in a greater sense of "community" and civic pride. 💧👏A well-maintained community doesn’t happen by accident—it happens because people care

A huge thank you to one of our dedicated Greater Meredith Program volunteers, Andy Lane, for taking the time to repair the water fountain in downtown Meredith. Thanks to Andys hard work and willingness to lend a hand, residents and visitors can once again enjoy this community amenity.

At GMP, so much of what we accomplish is made possible by volunteers who generously share their time, talents, and expertise to keep Meredith beautiful, welcoming, and vibrant.
