Our 3rd Interactivity Conference is complete! We absorbed as much as we could in order to bring our learning home and concentrate our efforts in creating a children’s museum for our state. Each year we reflect on our progress and celebrate our momentum in making this a reality. Thanks for being on our journey!

The museum is wherever we all are 💜💚🩵 We were inspired by 🌼 spring and the village 🪵 to have some exhibits reminiscent of these topics while still building fine motor skills, fulfilling sensory needs, creativity and engineering. Which was your favorite? And what do you want to see next? ☺️

Meet Rachel Bousel! Rachel began her career in experiential marketing creating immersive brand experiences. Specializing in Corporate Social Responsibility, she partnered with PNC Grow Up Great and Sesame Workshop, among others. After earning a Master's in Public Administration, she pivoted her career to nonprofit fundraising and events. Rachel is passionate about building community and believes in the magic of experience. As a Mom, she has seen the need for enriching children's experiences in Central Jersey and is excited to help create a museum for our community!

Her enthusiasm for the Children’s Museum of Central Jersey is rooted in her background in education and her experience as a mom in the community. She’s excited to support the museum’s mission and help expand access to engaging, hands-on learning for families across Central Jersey.

We are incredibly excited to announce THREE incredible additions to the Children's Museum of Central Jersey (CMOCJ) board!!! ✨

First, let's welcome Damarys Cover! Damarys is a community leader and real estate professional serving seniors and families across Central New Jersey as the head of Damarys & Co. Realty Group at Fox & Foxx Realty. She also serves as the Government Affairs Director for the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) Central New Jersey, advocating for sustainable homeownership and strong communities. Inspired by her parents, Damarys grew up visiting museums and understands the powerful role these experiences play in shaping a child’s curiosity, confidence, and lifelong love of learning. A proud mom and longtime Middlesex County resident, she is passionate about expanding access to enriching spaces where children and families can explore, imagine, and thrive together.

2026 has us feeling good!! 🥰 As an emerging museum, a lot of work happens between meetings, behind the scenes, and we don’t get together in person often as often as we’d like!
