🖍️We are seeking experienced art educators who can adapt and thrive in a dynamic classroom environment and our museum classroom studios.

📚We provide ongoing professional development opportunities, access to training on our exhibitions, and flexible working hours.

Join The Bass’ Teen Board tomorrow, January 19 from 6 - 9 PM for the first ever 𝗧𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 of 2023 during our monthly Culture Crawl!

The Bass Creativity Center will host an open studio session where guests will be supplied with a variety of materials to work with, and a guiding prompt inspired by the 𝙋𝙝𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮 exhibition.

Teens will have exclusive access to a Bob Ross-style guided painting lesson taught by a local teaching artist at 7 PM. All supplies will be provided by The Bass—just bring your friends!

Join us tomorrow, September 25 for Family Day as The Bass and O, Miami partner for DONT GO: A Sign-Making Playground, hosted by artist Erin Thurlow! Kids and families will have the opportunity to participate in a special art activity inspired by 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐰’𝐬 𝑫𝑶𝑵𝑻 𝑮𝑶!

When artist 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐰 created his sculpture 𝑫𝑶𝑵𝑻 𝑮𝑶, his goal was to create a crosswalk sign that would signal something more. Using phrases from instructional signs, 𝐷𝑂𝑁𝑇 𝐺𝑂 is meant to be surprising in a way to make the viewer think about signs, their purpose and what they tell us.

Join us this Sunday, August 28 from 2 – 4 PM for a fun and art-filled Family Day!
 
Inspired by exhibiting artist 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧'𝐬 current exhibition 𝑺𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒓, guests will create works of art that glow 🎨 

Admission to the museum is free all day! Guests can enjoy easy parking at Parking Garage, located at 340 23rd Street, one block north of The Bass Museum.

Nurture your teen artist's creative and professional skills with The Bass Creativity Center's Teen Studio Art Intensive! Registration is now open!

This week-long art camp will help equip your high school and college prospective teens with the necessary foundational skills to develop their own portfolio-ready artwork 🎨

This individualized experience places emphasis on technique, concept development and a polished sketchbook, and by the end of the week students will have completed a series of artworks in drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture.

Last week’s Summer Art Camps kids aged 7 - 12 learned about the meaning and techniques of graffiti and public art by studying artists such as Keith Haring and Hayat Nazer. Campers created a large-scale artwork to be displayed in public! Students then depicted a story, social message, idea or current event using Haring’s imagery 🎨
