MASKS series: This series draws inspiration from Hatillo’s Fiesta de los Santos Inocentes, translating the festival’s vibrant movement and collective energy into a refined abstract vocabulary. Through repeated organic forms, layered translucent color, and rhythmic patterns of ovals, dots, and lines, Amador evokes the bells, textiles, and dynamic motion of the masqueraders without depicting them literally..

ABSTRACT RHYTHMS series: explores Juan Carlos Amador’s translation of invisible forces—space, movement, and energy—into vibrant abstract forms. Through layered colors, intertwining shapes, and rhythmic patterns, Amador evokes the dynamism of nature and human experience without literal representation. Each work invites viewers into a sensorial encounter where abstraction becomes a language of movement, feeling, and perception.

Ana Seggiaro's training as an engraver awakened her fascination for the works of Dürer and Piranesi. This led the artist both to recover her own language of engraving through other media and to appropriate and dialogue with the works of these artists. This conversation, however, does not start from a solemn, pristine or untouchable place, but from the recognition of their virtues, which allows her to operate, reconstruct, eliminate and retouch fragments to compose her own work. Starting from his own pre-existing works, Seggiaro constructs a kind of mimicry of the original pieces in an exercise of visual reconstruction that he uses as a structure for his production. But the works are just that, states altered by his gaze that resemble, without repeating themselves, the original piece.
