Meet Erick — the vision behind Art Space.Art Space was created as a platform for artists to be seen, to experiment, and to connect. Located in the heart of Wynwood, it gives emerging artists the opportunity to showcase their work in a space that feels dynamic, accessible, and intentional. After more than a decade running a gallery in Puerto Rico, Erick set out to build something different in Miami — a place where exhibitions don’t feel repetitive, where ideas lead, and where artists have the freedom to create their own moments. What makes Art Space unique is its flexibility. Artists can take over the space, present their work, and engage directly with an audience — something Erick himself wished existed when he was starting out.For him, art is still part of everyday life. Even beyond creating, that connection continues through the way each piece is presented, framed, and experienced. His advice? Stay consistent. Trust your vision. And don’t wait for the perfect moment to show your work.If you’re an artist, curator, or cultural producer looking to develop a project, this is your space.

There’s something powerful about choosing to stay.

“Where I Learned to Stay” is not just an exhibition—it’s a moment. A pause after constant movement. Each piece by Yamily Castillo holds a quiet tension between what shifts and what endures, built through layered, tactile surfaces that carry memory, time, and weight.

This show invites you to slow down. To feel. To step into that space where everything once unsettled begins to ground.

Not just to be seen—but experienced.

There are artists who create objects — and others who build entire worlds.

Through layered paper, he constructs fictional landscapes that feel alive: somewhere between microbial colonies, sound waves, and architectural growths. What starts as material becomes movement, infection, expansion. The work doesn’t just exist in space — it transforms it.

His installations explore a powerful idea: music as a contagious force. Invisible, immersive, and constantly spreading — with us, the viewers, as its carriers.

But beneath the vibrant colors and playful forms, there’s something deeper. A personal history shaped by loss, memory, and reconstruction. Influenced by themes of disease, nostalgia, and resilience, the work balances beauty and discomfort — order emerging from chaos.

These are pieces that invite you closer. To observe, to question, and to step into a world that feels both unfamiliar and strangely alive.

We’re currently working with a selection of his works that will soon be available on our website.

What makes a space special isn’t just the art — it’s how people feel inside it.

Seeing people comfortable here, taking their time, sitting, talking, moving freely… that’s when the space really comes alive. It’s not about rushing through or just looking — it’s about being present, connecting, and enjoying the atmosphere as much as the work itself.

When a space feels natural, the experience changes. It becomes easy, personal, and real.

That’s the energy we’re always aiming for.

An art space is never just about walls and artwork — it’s about energy, intention, and the feeling you get the moment you walk in.

There’s something unique about a well-curated space: the quiet balance between light, texture, and composition. Every detail plays a role, from how the pieces are displayed to how the room breathes around them. It creates an atmosphere that invites you to slow down, look closer, and connect.

This kind of space doesn’t compete with the art — it elevates it. It gives each piece the presence it deserves while shaping an experience that feels both inspiring and personal.

More than a gallery, it becomes a place where ideas live, evolve, and resonate.
