Art 😍😍 I call my arts Anansinisim which was derived from the Character Kweku Ananse. Anansinisim comprises of The adinkra collection which is all about Black Heritage. The symbols and patterns represent the traditional knowledge and wisdom that the ancestors have passed on to the new generation. A heritage to be proud of and that we have the obligation to preserve and to live by. How?
By incorporating this heritage into our way of living, into our lifestyle ! The adinkra collection is a lifestyle. Living with the adinkra knowledge, knowing it but most importantly using it in our daily activities keeps the heritage alive. By using it we preserve it since it continues to exist.
