'Women at Large' is an exhibition featuring large-scale works by nine multidisciplinary, multigenerational Miami-based women artists. It provides a platform for women artists to showcase their works without conforming to a specific theme, encouraging experimentation and pushing the boundaries of their art practices.

DeSantis Vetoes All Arts Grants in Florida
Gov. Ron DeSantis gave no explanation for zeroing out the $32 million in grants that were approved by state lawmakers. This will impact Edge Zones and many other arts organization deeply. Everybody scrambling to find out how they’re going to be able to continue with their programming and the salaries.

I’m so honored and thankful to the Latinx Artist Fellowship really amazing award.. I also want to congratulate all all of the other artist that won this award.

I want this to be a reminder to all of those artists who deserve this as much as I do to just not give up,to continue your efforts, to continue to do your work, to believe that what you’re doing is important and take chance .

We have an opening a food and drinks reception at Edge Zones on Thursday, June 6 from 6 to 9 PM. I hope all of you can come and see Peter Hosfeld work is amazing.
 I will also be giving away great art books that you should come by and see if you want so please come on Thursday and I only enjoy the Peter’s work but also find great books for free.

· Open Call for CCI x C& Critical Writing Workshop
The Caribbean Cultural Institute (CCI) and Contemporary And (C&) invite emerging art writers based and working in Caribbean contexts or diaspora to participate in a virtual Critical Writing Workshop in July led by Grace Aneiza Ali, Chris Cyrille, and Abdiel D. Segarra Ríos. Participants should be fluent in oral and written Spanish, English, or French. Deadline: May 31, 2024. More information on this program can be found HERE or in the e-flyer attached.

· Open Call for 2024 CCI Fellowship Programs
The Caribbean Cultural Institute (CCI) invites interested artists, cultural practitioners, and researchers to submit their applications for the 2024 CCI Artist and Research Fellowships.
