Melinda is a self-taught Artist who not only shows her work in her own Studio she also travels performing live painting shows and teaching special needs children how to create their own “masterpiece.” One would be hard-pressed to f

ind a person more varied in her interests and talents than Melinda. In addition to being an artist, Melinda is a Martial Artist, a National, International, and World Karate Champion— an 8th degree black belt of World Tiger & Crane Goju-Ryu Karate-Do. “The ‘energy lines’ that you see in her painting style, quick strokes and fluid movement, comes from the Goju-Ryu Kata movements that have been a part of her life since1974. Through her Goju-Ryu ‘style’ she paints freely by merging the energies of Karate with the feelings from her soul, completely brushless.”
