The Bonnier Gallery is pleased to announce Jean-Michel Basquiat: Selected Works, 1978–1988, a major exhibition presenting approximately 100 works, curated by Grant Bonnier. The exhibition opens Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 6-9:30PM at 7275 NW 1st Court in Miami’s Little River neighborhood, and is open to the public Wednesday through Saturday, 11 am–6 pm, through June 30, 2026.

The works on view span Jean-Michel Basquiat’s entire documented career, from early collages and postcards made while the artist was still a teenager in downtown New York through canvases completed in 1987, the year before his death. The exhibition includes paintings, works on paper, sculpture, photography, collaborative works with Andy Warhol, and pieces of ephemera. Together, the works demonstrate the full range of Basquiat’s artistic practice and the consistency of his preoccupations — language, power, the body, heroism, and erasure.

Join us tonight from 6-8:30 PM at 51 NW 71st Street for the opening of “Cadence,” a solo exhibition of works from 1985-1989 by Lynne Golob Gelfman. Throughout these works, Gelfman constructs dynamic fields of interlocking forms that move rhythmically across the surface of the canvas. Repeated elliptical and faceted shapes—suggesting both organic growth and architectural frameworks—circulate through networks of arcs, lines, and lattice-like structures. These elements accumulate into compositions that feel both improvisational and carefully orchestrated, creating a visual cadence that carries the viewer through each work.

Lynne Golob Gelfman (1944–2020) was an American painter whose layered abstractions were shaped by the landscapes and cultural environments of New York, Miami, and Colombia. Born in New York, Gelfman received a BA from Sarah Lawrence College in 1966 and an MFA from the School of the Arts at Columbia University in 1968. She taught art at the Dalton School in New York from 1968 to 1972, before relocating with her husband to Colombia, where they established a flower farm outside Bogotá and later settled in Miami. While rooted in the legacy of late modernist abstraction, her work frequently incorporated references to architecture, indigenous textiles, and the tropical light and atmosphere of South Florida and Latin America, resulting in surfaces that feel both constructed and weathered.

The Bonnier Gallery is pleased to present Cadence, a solo exhibition of paintings and works on paper by Lynne Golob Gelfman (1944-2020) opening 6-8:30PM on Friday, March 13, 2026. The exhibition brings together a selection paintings and works on paper created between 1985-1989 that illuminate a pivotal moment in the artist’s development, when her visual language expanded through increasingly complex systems of color, gesture, and geometric structure.

Join us this Saturday from 5–8 p.m. for the closing reception of ARCS + VINES, by Richard Höglund and Cordy Ryman at 51 NW 71st Street, Miami. The exhibition brings together two distinct yet complementary approaches to material and form—Höglund’s contemplative Arc Paintings and Ryman’s vibrant, tactile wall Vines—each engaging rhythm, structure, and perception in dialogue with the surrounding architecture.

Richard Höglund (b. 1982, American) works within a practice that fuses painting, language, and time. His Arc Paintings are meditations on movement and memory—each stroke a measured act, each composition a reflection on the curve as both a poetic and physical gesture. Educated at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the Haute École des Arts du Rhin in Strasbourg, France, Höglund has exhibited internationally, and his work resides in numerous private and public collections across Europe and the United States, including the Dallas Museum of Art and The Rachofsky Collection.

Cordy Ryman (b. 1971, American.) is known for his playful and inventive approach to painting and sculpture. Constructed from found wood, metal, and pigment, his works embody a tactile sensitivity to surface and edge, balancing spontaneity with structure. Ryman received his BFA with honors from the School of Visual Arts (NY). In addition to solo shows in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Munich, Brussels and Gilleleje, he has been featured in exhibitions at the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art (KS), P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center (NY), and Museum of Contemporary Art (FL). His work has been acquired for the public collections of Microsoft (WA), Museum of Contemporary Art (FL), Raussmuller Collection (Basel), RD Merrill (WA), Rubell Family Collection (FL), Speyer Family Collection (NY), and the Virginia and Bagley Wright Collection (WA).
