Remembering Julio Le Parc.

A pioneer of kinetic and optical art, Le Parc spent more than six decades exploring light, movement, perception, and participation, reshaping how audiences experience art. He passed away on May 30 at the age of 97.

PAMM was honored to present "Julio Le Parc: Form into Action" in 2016, the artist's first solo museum exhibition in North America. Through immersive environments, luminous installations, and dynamic works in motion, the exhibition introduced new audiences to one of the most influential artists of his generation.

Thank you, Julio Le Parc, for showing us that art can move us, literally and figuratively.

We’ve been building this one piece by piece.

Before the walls are painted and the works are installed, every exhibition begins with conversations, sketches, movement through the space, and countless decisions behind the scenes.

Today, “This Is America: Selections from PAMM’s Collection” opens to the public, bringing together works from across our collection in a newly transformed gallery experience exploring identity, history, memory, and contemporary American life.

Get a glimpse into the process behind the exhibition before stepping into the final result.

Opening today. Click the link in bio for details.

Bòn Mwa Eritaj Ayisyen! 🇭🇹
Happy Haitian Heritage Month.

This month, we’re honoring the artists and cultural legacies that continue to shape Miami and the global Caribbean diaspora, including Miami-born Haitian artist Woody De Othello.

On view through June 28, "coming forth by day" is Othello’s first solo museum exhibition in his hometown. Through ceramic and wood sculptures, tiled wall works, and immersive installation, the exhibition explores the relationship between body, earth, memory, and spirit. Rooted in diasporic African traditions and informed by the artist’s Haitian heritage, the works transform everyday objects into emotional and spiritual vessels.

Celebrate with us all month.
