Blink is a unique combination of working studio and contemporary art gallery. One hour from Chicago and 30 minutes from South Bend, we are located in the historic district of Michigan City, Indiana. Blink is a project of painter RICHARD C. LANGE and sculptor SUZANNE COHAN LANGE. Blink hosts two to four major shows a year, often inviting local, regional, and national artists who work in a wide ran

ge of contemporary styles and media. Our present show opens on Saturday, Feb. 1, noon-5pm cst, and ... among many beautiful works of art ... will highlight stunning wearable art. Richard's paintings, drawings and prints and the mixed media sculpture of Suzanne are always on display as well. Richard is a formally trained painter, whose works are abstracted from objects in his memory. Fish hooks, puzzles, and decoy, dress or suit patterns are highly textured and become symbols to contemplate. Suzanne’s sculptures are figurative and often informed by mythology and our uneasy relationship with nature. They are always a metaphor for the human condition.
