We are now accepting applications for the 175th Scholarship to be awarded to an applicant who resides in the New Holland Middletown school district. The scholarship is in the amount of $250 and is available to anyone who will be attending a post high school institution. The funds must be used for tuition or books and needs to be submitted by April 15, 2026. Applications are available at the Lincoln High School counselor's office or by calling 217-445-2789 to request one. Anyone who is currently attending a higher education institution is able to apply if you live in and went to school in the NHM school district.

Thanks to Amanda and Chad Lawrence and Hunter Harrison for delivering the park bench to KCB. Along with the new tree, it's beginning to take shape. A great big thank you to the Breene girls for the tree donated in memory of their parents Fenton and Barbara Breene. Also, to the Middletown United Methodist Church for the bench donated in memory of Delas and Jean Johnson. The park bench was a project of the Middletown 4-H and Clover buds.

Trying to spruce the place up just a little. Really hot day to be working, but these guys were troopers. When it is all done, we will put a park bench there between the windows. The bench has been donated by the Middletown United Methodist Church in memory of Delas and Jean Johnson.

There is still a lot to do on the inside, but we are slowly coming together.
