The Museum will be closed tomorrow (Saturday 4/18/2026) in honor of Gene White, the center on the 1954 Champion Milan Indians. We will be attending a Celebration of his Life at Franklin College in Spurlock Center. Visitation 9:00-11:00, Memorial Service 11:00-12:00. RIP Gene, a life well-lived.

COME VISIT MILAN! The Museum is taking part in The Indiana Hoops Pass which is a free, digital, basketball-themed mobile passport launched to celebrate the 2026 NCAA Men’s Final Four. Participants visit over 47 iconic statewide venues—including 3 locations in Milan--to scan QR codes, earn points, and win prizes such as stickers, koozies, hats, and Fan Fest tickets. Cost: Free.

Jennifer Hennies and her son Finnegan were in for a visit today Milan school system is on spring break this week Finnegan is a 7th grader at Milan Middle School and a basketball player Jennifer is not only a 1996 Milan High School graduate she is the MHS secretary we were able to look at the old annuals and show Finnegan pictures of his grandparents who both graduated from MHS they were high school sweethearts and are still married today he was able to see pictures of various other relatives and family friends in some of the annuals MHS has @319 students and are a class A1 school these are questions that I get asked frequently thank you Jennifer for the information

Olivia and Shane Bushorn were in with their family to receive the water tower bobblehead from our raffle at the Milan Christmas Walk last weekend. Shane is a graduate of Milan High School and Olivia's name was on the winning ticket!
