On this day in history, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and fellow suffragist Susan B. Anthony made history on Nov. 2, 1880, by attempting to vote at a polling place set up at the Valley Hotel in Tenafly. After her ballot was refused, Stanton left it at the ballot box and departed with Anthony.

Join us at 7 am on Monday to put out flags on Bridge Street to honor our veterans on Memorial Day.

We’ll be downtown Milford next to Allen’s Antiques. We are honored to continue the tradition that Robert Pipolo humbly managed for many years to pay homage to those who gave everything for our freedom.

Hope to see the community there. ❤️

Thank you, Good Morning Milford!

Appreciating Milford’s history, you have to love the charming creek bridge and an important mainstay of our town throughout many decades. There was a certain charm in the pre-turn of the century building. Milford has never had a more striking bridge. We have certainly moved on to utilitarian. That makes it even more special when owners proceed to restore the old world designs. They are to be treasured, not destroyed. Our history is priceless!
