All are welcome to attend exhibits, take classes, and enjoy events throughout the year. The Milford area has long been blessed with many dedicated, talented and creative people interested in bringing the visual arts to the community. What was lacking was a non-profit visual arts organization to bring the visual arts and art education to the Greater Milford area. A steering committee of enthusiasti

c people met for several months in 2004. Finally, The Mispillion Art League Inc. was founded and incorporated on June 15, 2004. The original founders of the Art League were:
Helen Holleger, Sara Gallagher, Cathy Walls, Carrie Geyer, Dot Furnish, Steve Quillin, Joan Frense, Skip Pikus, Jean Wiley and Jo Wood. The art league is a tax exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the federal tax code.

🌞 It’s a gorgeous day by the river in downtown Milford! Drop your little one off here at Mispillion Art League for Saturday Surprise Hour and go enjoy music and shopping at the farmers market next door.

Saturday Surprise Hour
There is no pre-registration. Upon drop-off, you will receive a note with your individual pick-up time.
Kids may arrive between 9:30 am and 11:30 am.
Fee due at drop-off: Members: $15 per child | Non-members: $20 per child

Many Saturday mornings throughout spring and summer, drop off your 7-12 year-old at MAL for 1 hour of creative fun. Each session, we will do a surprise project, like painting, collage, and 3D crafts. A parent/guardian is welcome to stay and make it family time!

The art teacher at Lulu Ross Elementary is looking for a few artists to set up easels with a work in progress during the Thursday, June 4th annual Ross art show, from 5:00 to 7:30 PM. Inspire our young artists, answer their questions, see the artwork the kids have created. A joyful fun event! If you're interested please contact Karen Fitzpatrick, at [email protected] .
