We are a team of para-historians interested in investigating historical sites and preserving the history involved. DHH founder Rick Coherd has a strong passion for both history and historical places. Through this passion, he decided to start DHH to investigate the paranormal and offer paranormal investigations and programs to help fund historic places, thus allowing them to keep their doors open.

To date, DHH has raised over $37,000 to help support historical locations. All of our investigators have a strong historical presence and hope that they can help keep historical places thriving for generations to come. DHH takes all steps necessary to seek out, find, and document any paranormal activity using a scientific and organized approach in all investigations and will not make claims of “haunted” or “not haunted” until all evidence is collected and analyzed, realizing that the truth is often made up of more than one factor. Therefore, we carefully consider all evidence from a skeptics point of view to ensure the authenticity of such evidence and rule out any potentially false findings. If your historical site is believed to be haunted or if you know of a haunted historical location, you can call us or send us a message and we will contact you.

As we enter the week of Thanksgiving we’d like to share what we are thankful for…

We are grateful for the opportunity to not just investigate historic locations, but to help support them through our public events.

Not gonna lie, it’s super fun to get together as a team to investigate a location. We love collecting evidence and sharing our adventures with you.

Our mission has always been to explore history, share it through our work, and most importantly preserve history. We honestly couldn’t complete our mission without your continued support through public events.

We had a great night at Duck Creek Historical Society in Smyrna last night. Fantastic turnout. We met some new friends and reconnected with some. The spirits were in a chatty mood so we had activity in each location. Excellent evening!
