Celebrate a milestone with us at Harold Warp Pioneer Village as we mark the 73rd anniversary of our opening! Join us for Kearney County Days on June 6–7, where we’ll be open from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM as a vibrant hub of community spirit and local heritage. Kearney County residents get in free!

This Memorial Day we are honoring Major Durfee Larson, whose uniforms were donated to the Harold Warp Pioneer Village in the 1960s’. Our team is working to accurately set up his uniforms, so please note they are not yet complete.

🌮 WEEKEND SPECIAL at the Pioneer Village Diner! 🌭
Join us this Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM – 2 PM for Walking Tacos and a limited menu! After this weekend, we'll expand back to our full summer menu of delicious Single/Double Hamburgers and Cheeseburgers (served with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle), plus hot dogs, chips, and pickles. We will be open all summer long, so make us your go-to lunch stop!

Please note: Operating days and weekly closures may vary based on seasonal scheduling. We recommend checking with the front desk upon arrival for the most up-to-date daily schedule.

For History Book club this week we will be learning about Harriet Tubman. We will be reading the Book "I am Harriet Tubman" by Brad Meltzer and doing a simple craft. An adult must accompany kids to book club.

For History Club our topic will remain a mystery for the students to work together and uncover!

Our Exhibits and Education Curator and Director’s Assistant recently planted a garden near the stockade home! Our stockade garden has heirloom plant varieties from the 1870s and earlier including rhubarb, pumpkin, beets, beans and asparagus. Come see them grow through out the season!
