If an "authorized Google representative" calls about your business listing, hang up. Or call them liars, then hang up.
It is a separate company. They will ask all sorts of "verification" questions about your business, then promise to "update" your account, and then they will bill you for that. As in ongoing monthly fees.
You can put in or take out info on your own listing once you have claimed it with a postcard process. You do not need to pay a service for that.
Don't fall for it.

October 18, this coming Saturday, will be the biggest nationwide coirdinated anti Miracle Ear protest so far.
Just because you have commitments does not mean you can't participate.
I have promised to open my gallery for Fall Art Tour, but I will have a sign in front of my gallery.
If you are open, consider your own sign. If you are touring, consider signs for your car windows or to leave on your dash board when parked.
I'm working on mine in my jammies this morning.
