Kolman & Reeb Gallery exhibits contemporary artwork by Minnesota-based artists in diverse media such as paintings, sculpture, and ceramic art.

The Kolman & Reeb Gallery is a unique collaboration between Anita Sue Kolman, arts patron, and Jodi Reeb, artist and curator. The gallery exhibits contemporary work by Minnesota artists working in diverse media, including painting, encaustic, paper and sculpture.

Here is what you will see tomorrow, Saturday, May 30, when you walk into Kolman & Reeb Gallery, 12-4 p.m., to see our summer group show, “Summer Dreamscapes.” The exhibit invites viewers into the fleeting magic of a Minnesota summer, where long days stretch into golden evenings, and the ordinary begins to feel luminous, almost unreal.

This Saturday, May 23

Kolman & Reeb Gallery will not be open this Saturday, May 23. Jodi and Anita are taking some time to relax and be with family and friends. The gallery will reopen next Saturday, May 30 at 12 p.m. We wish all of you a fun and relaxing Memorial Day weekend!

Art-A-Whirl® 2026 begins tonight, May 15 at 5 p.m. Kolman & Reeb Gallery will be open until 10 p.m.

Can’t come tonight, the gallery will be open tomorrow, Saturday, May 16, 12-8 p.m. and Sunday, May 17, 12-5 p.m.

You will find Kolman & Reeb in Studio 395 in the Northrup King Building in Northeast Minneapolis.

Art-A-Whirl® is NEMAA's (Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association) annual open studio weekend, and it is happening throughout Northeast Minneapolis this weekend.

Of course, Kolman & Reeb Gallery will be open the entire weekend.

Saturday, May 16, 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

We will be showing Summer Dreamscapes our 2026 edition of our annual summer group show.

Summer is almost here and so is Kolman & Reeb Gallery’s annual summer group show. This year’s show, “Summer Dreamscapes,” begins this Saturday, May 9, 12-4 p.m. It features artwork created by our gallery artists, Betsy Ruth Byers, Jil Evans, Abby Mouw, Kelly Jean Ohl, Jodi Reeb, Lynne Sarnoff-Christensen, Julie Snidle, and Cameron Zebrun, and guest artist, Laura Hallen.

Your last chance to see, “Where We Meet,” an exhibit featuring abstract paintings by Suyao Tian, at Kolman & Reeb Gallery is this Saturday, May 2. The gallery will be open, 12-4 p.m. Anita will be in to greet you.

Special Guest this Saturday, April 25, at Kolman & Reeb Gallery

Kristina Fjellman, fiber artist and 2026 Project Space grantee, needs your help!

Kristina will be in Kolman & Reeb Gallery this Saturday, April 25, 12-2 p.m., collecting fabric donations from the public, that’s you, for the wall sculptures she will be creating for her Project Space Grant show.

Please bring any type of fabric, 6 inches or larger, except canvas and denim, to the gallery that you would like to be recycled into art. People who contribute fabric will be acknowledged in the finished work’s didactics, emphasizing the collaborative nature of the project.
