Nelson Mandela
1918 - 2013

For now, let us pause and give thanks for the fact that

and bent the arc of the moral universe toward justice.
May God Bless his memory and keep him in peace.

Greetings!

We regret to inform you that we are canceling the Martin Luther King Bell Ringing program planned for August 28th commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington. The temperature is expected to be in the mid-90s and the heat index and humidity will make it even hotter.

Many of the Elders have expressed concern about the heat as have many of the parents of the children slated to perform.

Disappointing as this may be; the great news is in spite of this cancellation the bell ringing scheduled for 3:00 pm will take place as planned!!

Thank you for your continued support!!
