The Railroad Museum of Minot is proud to share the incredible work done by the Souris Valley Model Railroad Club downstairs in our basement.
Every tree, building, train, farm field, bridge, and tiny detail you see on that layout exists because of countless volunteer hours, member donations, patience, and talent. The club opens their doors during museum hours because they genuinely enjoy sharing the hobby with the public and helping keep railroad history alive in a hands-on way... even if they donβt run enough GN power.
Please help us respect the layout and the hard work behind it. The trains may be tiny, but the repair bills are not.
And yes... the deer in Farmer Mikeβs Corn are cute. They are still not petting zoo animals.
We appreciate everyone who visits, supports, volunteers, and helps make the museum and club a welcoming place for the community. π
