There are volunteer opportunities year round with the Walsh County Historical Museum, Heritage Village, and Walsh County Historic Society. Pictured below are volunteers who have worked over the winter restoring an "Uncle Sig Special" for Heritage Village. December 7th, 1941, during the attack on Pearl Habor Walsh County lost two citizens. SF2c Frank Peter Bernard from Grafton and RM2c Floyd Arthur Wells from Fairdale on the USS Arizona.
